there are four seasons in the year. there are winter, spring, summer and autumn. my favorite season is summer. in summer nature surrounds us with all kinds of flowers: merry dandelions, beautiful roses, shy daisies. sometimes the weather becomes very hot in summer and the air gets stuffy. then a thunderstorm usually brings relief. the sky is suddenly covered with dark clouds and distant rolls of thunder are heard. later bright flashes of lightning are followed by claps of thunder and it begins to rain. after the thunderstorm the air is remarkably fresh, and very often we can see a beautiful bridge across the sky which is called a rainbow.children love summer very much because in summer they have long holidays. they don`t have to go to school and that`s why they have much free time. they can play with their friends in the yard, read or watch tv. and of course i like summer very much because there is the longest holiday in summer.  so, summer is the best time of the year.

i have a pet. this is a cat named masha. she came to us when i went to kindergarten. now masha is 7 years old, but despite her age, she still loves to run and play as before.

masha is black with a small white spot on her chest. if it were not, then our cat would be like a small cougar. her eyes are yellow-green.

our cat is very affectionate, loves to be petted and never bites anyone. therefore, everyone would like to have such a pet.

masha loves to sleep on the chair. but after her, it is better not to sit on him in light-colored clothes, because the wool will stick to her. and you have to constantly wipe the chair.

feed masha we usually the same food as we eat ourselves. we sometimes buy her sprat. we don't buy kitekat to her, because in it there are flavor enhancers and then she doesn't eat other food.

we all love masha very much. and i would like everyone to have such a pet.

my name is danila. i am sixteen years old. i live in khabarovsk, russia. i am a full-time first student of the machine building technical school in my city. our machine building technical school is rather well-equipped. our machine building technical school has 2 buildings. there are so many classes in the first building where all students have theoretical lessons. there is also a large assembly hall for concerts and performances. one of the most popular places among the students is a canteen. nonresident students can live in the hall of residence.

there are good sports facilities in our college.

there are workshops in the second building where students have their practical training.

today the machine building technical school provides training in such specialties and professions as a welder, a fitter, a turner, an electrician and etc.

there are understanding and kind teachers in my machine building technical school. if there's something unclear for me, they are always ready to explain it to me one more time individually. moreover, i appreciate that all teachers have a unique approach to everyone. i think that is one of the reasons for good results of the student. actually, this machine building technical school is one of the oldest educational college in the city.

some of our students live in the hostel. it takes them five minutes to get there.

i like my machine building technical school because all people are friendly and always help you with your work.
